Today's Report - 7/1/17:

I only got 23 miles in today. Had a few equipment failures that literally cost me about 5 hours. I have everything fixed but I'm way behind. Will have a very difficult time making Silverton on July 2nd. Hopefully got all the bugs worked out today.

As far as the Clear Creek trail detour goes - I don't recommend it at all. If you're hiking the trail southbound, you might want to wait until the fire detour is lifted. Yes it's that bad and overgrown. Other than that, it was a good day to hike and run, especially early in the day.
